It's interesting that while the richest of the rich can buy their $10 million home and $200K sports car, they still have to make do with the same iPhones and Droids that the rest of us do. I wonder if there's a market for super-luxury cell phones like there is for watches?
Andy Kessler: The Rise of Consumption Equality - WSJ.com: Given its memory, today's 32-gigabyte smartphone would have cost $1 million back then, certainly an exclusive item for the wealthy. Heck, even 10 years ago, 32 gig cost 10 grand.
